The conference dinner is to be held on Monday 10th September at the Tamaki Yacht Club on the Auckland waterfront, 30 Tamaki Drive  Mission Bay 1071. Transport will be available from the Scenic Hotel or alternatively it is a pleasant walk (if it’s not raining!) from the bottom of Queen Street by the waterfront, we tested it out and it took us 25 mins. http://www.romfords.co.nz/

Social Evening

On Tuesday 11th September after the conference has finished for those who wish we will gather at the Viaduct Harbour for a post conference chat and socialising, this will be at your own expense.

On Sunday 9th September after the workshop and Doctoral Consortium for those who wish we will gather at Grasshopper Thai Restaurant, this will be at your own expense.

Rangitoto Island adventure

No need to register for this online, we will take names at the conference, ferry payment on the day, $27.00. This is an easy 1.5 hour hike up each way on one of the most beautiful islands in the Hauraki Gulf with magnificent views of Auckland City, Waitemata Harbour and the magnificent Hauraki Gulf. There are no shops on Rangitoto, water and food can be purchased before leaving on the ferry. We plan to leave on the 10.30am and return on the 3.30pm ferry.
